Asaf Fried Asaf Fried leads the data science team within Cato Research Labs at Cato Networks, a leading network security provider with more than 2,200 enterprise customers and 1,000 employees across 30 countries. Previously a data scientist at Check Point Software, he has academic and industry experience in applying novel machine learning methods to the domain of networking and cybersecurity. His main research interests include asset discovery, risk assessment, and network-based attacks in enterprise environments. He earned a MS degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev with his thesis on “Facing Airborne Attacks on ADS-B Data with Autoencoders” and received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Reichman University.
